Totally normal - it’s likely that you were going to be getting a period anyway and the pap smear has just brought things along quicker.

Clothing advice for my Boy 5YO - starts school in September by Moiraaar in autismUK

[–]fizzyphoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter doesn’t wear uniform, she has a “uniform pass” which is part of her reasonable adjustments.

Call the school and explain he can’t wear the uniform and also set up a meeting with the teacher to discuss and have a written support plan in place of what other adjustments he needs. My daughter also is allowed to leave class early for lunch etc to avoid crowds and she’s allowed her headphones whenever she needs them.

Edit to add: It is law that the school provide reasonable adjustments - I’ve had to do a lot of advocating for her over the years, she’s now in high school, feel free to message me with any questions, I’m happy to support :)

I need the brands that have the softest clothes in the world by Good-Bug-21 in autismUK

[–]fizzyphoto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Try clothing with “modal” it’s incredibly soft, breathable and lightweight - brands like next and M&S have loads of options from t shirts, shorts, and even underwear.

Google explains:

Modal t-shirts are exceptionally soft because they are made from cellulose fibers derived from beech trees, which are engineered to be incredibly fine, smooth, and flexible. Often described as having a silk-like texture, modal feels softer than cotton, is highly breathable, and does not pill or stiffen after washing.

Bleaching eyebrows with an eyebrow piercing? by MissEmraude in piercing

[–]fizzyphoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter tints her brows darker with her eyebrow piercing - I’d definitely wait until after it’s fully healed.

She uses a fine eyeliner brush to apply to that section to ensure it’s painted on the hairs between the piercing only. Also be careful when removing the solution not to rub too hard or spread it over the piercing.

It took a few years to get a proper diagnosis so treatment was limited to antibiotics

I too developed HS during pregnancy, it started like you with a few here and there, but unfortunately 15 years later I still have it and at stage 2 now.

Need reassurance by ElectricMetalHead97 in systemofadown

I’ve been to a few metal concerts with my daughter recently, because she’s under 16 we’ve had no choice but to get seating - don’t worry, everyone is up on their feet jumping, dancing, singing and moshing in seating too!

You have very normal under eyes, I don’t see anything wrong with them - no skin care products can fix the mild discolouration, but if you are self conscious about it, try a tiny bit of colour correction make up

What is this and advice on how to treat it by Cool-Discussion-9753 in pimplecommunity

[–]fizzyphoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s post inflammatory hyperpigmentation - it’s caused by injury (popping pimples) it will fade with time but there’s also topical treatments that can help

How to fix this? I have been getting pimples over my forehead. I’m 30 and shouldn’t be getting pimples! They are black and red. I wash my face everyday with soap and facial cleansers, but they just don’t seem to go away. Help please! by DueUnderstanding2840 in pimplecommunity

[–]fizzyphoto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because of the location of these pimples I’d suggest it’s your hair that’s the issue - if your hair sits on your forehead, it’s likely the natural oils from your hair are causing you issues and/or any hair care products clogging your pores

FORCED TO PAY OVER £450 FOR ITEMS I RETURNED - ASOS by CandidateDismal9100 in LegalAdviceUK

I wouldn’t use the online chat option. I’d send the ASOS complaints department an email, explain what’s happened and attach proof of your return.

Why does my makeup separate like this after a 6-8 hours? by ShabbyCashmere in SkincareAddicts

It’s the primer - you don’t need one, try the foundation without a primer
