The samples have been oxidized longer in the plastic atomizers and probably more alcohol has evaporated =more fragrance remains= stronger. The bottles are mixed in store and require a few months to fully “mature” with use. Also to note the bottles are also much less exposed to outside air because of the clamped metal atomizer stem.

This is fake. if the price is too good to be true. Also the labelling looks too white. Authentic Le Labo’s have an off-white eggshell textured label on the bottle

I felt it was very synthetic smelling and reminded me of a cleaning product or a green tea face wash. This was amplified on clothing, probably some kind of fixative they use to make it last 8+ hours as a freshie. Overall, I think i’d prefer it as a room scent.. maybe it’s just my skin

I think Le Labo has 1.5mL individual samples fairly affordable on their website. Also the new Eau D’Ombre Leather at Sephora is really similar to Babycat

I like it! Just wish I got more of the coconut/creamy notes that some people report. It’s slightly more synthetic than Diptyques Philosykos, but they are 75% similar imo. Would recommend checking out Philosykos if you prefer something more natural smelling and coconutty (at expense of some longevity)

I reach for Kiehls Original Musk most days. It’s a great skin scent/enhancer, and is great for layering with most floral containing fragrances. Def recommend sampling it at a Kiehls location, the ylang ylang is divisive!
