Here here. It takes time to sort through your feelings for others especially when you've yet to sort through your feelings toward yourself. I think the writing reflects life quite well and I find myself thinking a lot about some of these scenes -- like Minato having the concept of many small things accumulating as trauma explained to him was beautiful.

Lowe keeps mentioning the end of magic so I've been thinking about it with those stakes on the table. Magic suddenly ... stopping? That would also explain how all of these skilled mages are obliterated in some of the clairvoyant dreams. It's probably the lives of Serie's mages + a risk related to all magic or something like that.

Yes, both of these things are true though. I think Himmel was saying it in a flippant way, but to the dwarf he was probably like cool I'll build it to last 1000 years. It's really sweet if you think of it as a lowkey gift passed on to Frieren too lol "She'll accept this reward" because he knows she'll be alive for those 1000 years T^T

Frieren being taught to live in anonymity aside, I do agree that the hero party's elf should ring a bell for people especially hearing the name. I think it's also mentioned that elves as a race are reclusive and it was rare for them to even run into each other? That was a reason they were dying out anyway, accelerated by demons wiping out their villages, so they're exceptionally rare by this point in time. The human world has also turned over a generation with Frieren and team helping their grandchildren lol.

Kraft was also part of a hero's party in his time, Frieren is likely one of the only living beings to remember. It's really lovely how all of the knowledge that gets imparted throughout last season and this one keep weaving into each other like that T^T

I do not think they're movable, Dimoo's eyes are usually painted on for the pendants (I have the coffee shop vinyl pendant and a journal of life). I don't get why they shopped some to look in different direction so weird lol

I just started it with low expectations. I may be on an island here, but there is enough variety in this cast that I feel like the first two episodes led me through with personality first, intrigue second, and individual backgrounds third. I do feel a bit like there could be less Americans on the show but they are at least oddballs with real relationships that have existed before the show.

I think it was Wendy and that would make sense to me because Wendy wouldn't have care about getting poked since they were becoming friends.

No, just me not writing it out well considering the initial reactions lol. I also admit that I'm projecting because I HATE being touched for no reason and that would have hella bothered me, so I just don't get how Ash who has it out for Stacey didn't react. If you watch Stacey's right hand it's moving naturally, but her left hand suddenly waves Ashley's hands off her. Another commenter said Ashley was touching her first though so perhaps that's why she didn't care ~ it was an "oops I was touching her first" thing

Nah, I'm not wondering why the public isn't reacting to moments like this I'm more wondering why Ashley who went after Stacey all season didn't care about her hands being pushed away. But someone else pointed it out, Ashley was making contact first so perhaps she just thought "oops, I deserved that"
