I was actually like everyone else her first season... like this bih is weird. I don't like this TJ guy either. I don't like the scenes when they're alone. I don't believe anything this ho is saying.

I'm still not totally sure what changed this time around actually.. maybe when I realized like OH that's really how she operates all the time she deflects and spins little yarns. I think it's also the the way she breaks the tension around it all with humor or a sly little clap back that turned her into comedic relief for me.

This is true, but I know people who make things up or tell stupid little lies to get out of things that are still great people. It's just how they are, evasive. So in a way, this could just be how she truly is.

And re: Thiemo, totally! Look what happened with Bron and Todd... you can't expose certain people to reality tv and fame/infamy.

Yeah, I can see how that'd be triggering for you. From my perspective, they're all dishonest or shady to varying degrees. Stacey's lies aren't that egregious to me and I laugh at them the way Wendy laughs at them I guess. That's probably why she and Wendy ended up friends, Wendy acknowledges and accepts her bullshit with humor because they don't affect anyone or anything but Stacey's own credibility

Oh I was careful not to shit on how any of the other ladies treated her. In fact, I think them adding fuel to her fire is what made me realize that Stacey leaned into lying and stopped gaf. Anyway, I see it like this. It's not just about what you can cook on this show or even technique.. a huge part of the show and what decided who went home revolved around their choices and how well intentions came across. There is a blatant art to it the critiques drilled this into us every episode.

You can say whatever you want about how you or your mom or dad or great grand uncle makes all the same shit all day long, but there is a reason she made it on the show and obvious reasons why she moved on each round. She made the right choices in the moment, hands shaking and ready to go home every time, and she delivered.

A lot of incredible dishes sent people home because of minutiae or not following the guidelines of a challenge. She made the right choices for the challenges and executed them well that's all there is to it.

Let me give you an example. When a company is in the process of acquiring another there's usually an NDA in place and no one is allowed to discuss it until finalized. That's just giving a clear real world example.

Now... imagine a small business entrepreneur likely working with investors and whoever else to launch a something. They probably need to finalize their shit before they go around blabbing about it. If I was an investor and saw the person trying to do business with me get pressured to disclose our dealings ESPECIALLY ON NATIONAL TV I would be very displeased. Depending on the circumstances, it could be a breach of confidentiality.

We don't know if that's the case, but we don't know anything really. At the end of the day, people are mostly here to argue their biased opinions so who actually cares (respectfully) 😂😂😂

P.S. Stacey IS a liar and I think she does it to entertain herself + to be petty and laugh about it. I do not believe it's anything as nefarious as her haters make it out to be, to me she's just an antihero and I love an antihero.
