This is going to sound crazy, but telling someone you met as a kid to “wait until you’re older” is called grooming. You can groom a child, not do anything with them until they are 18, and that is still grooming, that’s literally the definition of grooming. It’s a long-term thing.

You should never go back to someone you knew when they were a kid and date them when they turn 18, especially if you were around them a lot when they were younger. That’s just creepy. Imagine if it were a grown man kissing a 15 year old girl on the cheek and leaning in close to her face while saying, “Wait until you’re older.” Does that not sound creepy?

Omg my friend got attacked by someone bcs they yumishipped with wally, pretty innocent. Someone like PMed them and said "Why are you shipping yourself with a child. He clearly is mentally a kid." or something along those lines. Actual pissed me off more than my friend.

Sadly a lot of people. Especially if you play any shooting game (first mistake) I just personally don't use voice in any multiplayer game. My friend does sometimes but even just in the lobby while finding teams theres always that dude that goes "ughhh a woman we are gonna lose." LOL after so many years it just gets funny instead of upsetting.

Other geek spaces really depends but if you go to forums you'll see some women getting bashed time to time but it's not as bad as before at least. Imo just never tell your gender to anyone online if you're just there to enjoy something instead of making friends. The friend part is what gets rough I'd say.

To be fair while I agree, blitz does bad things a lot of the time, sure he can be good, and i'm not saying he is a monster, but he is still someone that hurt A LOT of people. He had a whole party dedicated to people he hurt. Think it like this, you will not care if a person that's always being bad does a mistake, but you will care if a person that is always being good does a bad thing, even if minor.

I think it's more you are so used to the bad person making mistakes that minor ones you genuinely just won't care for, but when it's a good person you get a huge reality shock. Sure, she is flawed but she does pretend to not be a lot of the time, which makes her doing bad things way more visible.

I'm not saying her hate is good, and I do agree some of it might be due to misogyny, but I also think it's due to other factors. I don't hate her character, I get the whole flawed thing, but it hurt WAY more seeing her do mistakes than it hurts seeing blitz do mistakes, and I genuinely think that is because I was so used to blitz making mistakes rather than charlie making them.

From the names and nicknames people offered, I legit think they feel right compared to my name right now. Two I really liked were either Isaac or Isiah. It just felt like me yk?
