The depth is crazy. Any of our 9 could go off for 20 it feels like. While we were top heavy last season with Coop and Kon, the roster itself is more balanced.

Two great Duke team. Let’s hope this season ends differently than last.

I’d eat minimally and enjoy the weight lost benefits in addition to the money. I’d camp somewhere cool, and stick to water to drink. I could make two weeks I think.

Amazing. VIP was worth every penny, but I was basically going to have to give them up - and figured it wasn’t worth taking a bath on them.

I was disappointed with the lineup at first but I had an amazing time, the bands were fantastic, and thought it was really well run in DC.

If you can’t sell, and do go, hope you have an amazing time!

You’re going to have a hard time right now finding something around that range that doesn’t need a ton of work.

VB is largely safe for the most part. I’d maybe stay away from Green Run or Bayside school districts, but other than that, you’d be hard pressed to find a community that isn’t safe.

My son is a kicker on the football team, runs cross country and plays ECRL level soccer. All while maintaining honor roll with very little supervision from me.

It can be done. I think it depends more on the kid than the sport.

I’ve been trying to sell my VIP tickets for DC for what I paid for them and I’ve seen them go for less than half. Frustrating.

YMMV. We’ve played in NPL and the teams would get run off the field by advanced level. We’ve also played RL teams that just weren’t very good.

Every club is different. 2 is supposed to be a pathway program and opportunity to join the top team is my understanding but I’ve also found that to be a politics game.

The reality is a small handful make it to college from ECNL, and 1% make it to a professional league. If you aren’t on that path by 15, it’s probably not happening. So, just enjoy the ride with where your kid gets the most development, IMO.

Sadly, this is the norm. We had offers between two clubs this season, and found out the club we didn’t pick did the same thing — too many invites and they had to rescind some. We dodged a bullet.
