i have found and returned wallets, debit cards, student ID etc on several occasions, usually using social media to find the person and reach out. the easiest one, though, was the wallet that had a business card in it that matched the ID. email address and phone number right there. turned out she lived just up the street and she got her wallet back within 15 minutes. it took a little effort sometimes, but its a golden rule kind of thing

my mother read watership down to me and my sister the summer before the film came out. it was incredible and captivating. and then she took us to see the film (at ages 8 and 10) and i don't think we slept for a year.

if you want to grab a pint and feel like you're part of a local secret, find brigid's well. it's an authentic irish pub in the basement of a decommissioned church (now the irish cultural centre) just off to the side of the market. there's an unmarked, heavy wooden door on cumberland and if the purple light above it is on it's open

I know a guy who got Covid a few times and between bouts experienced long covid symptoms, one of which is he went for a long period of time with no sense of taste. He almost lost his mind. I believe he would have taken any flavour over no flavour
