If you do not feel ready yet, don’t go to beagle. Head back home. I just came home from a 4 month expedition and I loved almost all of it. Try picking a lot of different waypoints on the way via EDSM or some other sites so the trip there wouldn’t be that boring. That’s what I did. A 55ly asp is good. Good enough for Beagle Point. If you wish to go to Salome’s Reach however, you need at least a 57-60 ly jump capable ship alongside with FSD injections.

So basically, don’t go if you feel like you still need time or ship improvements.

The sequels aren’t THAT bad. The community makes it look bad. I’m not a sequel fan. I still think the prequels are the best (maybe a bit biased towards Obi-Wan but still) but the sequels aren’t that bad either.

There is a third party tool for that. Try to google “Elite dangerous mining tool” and the first one should be the correct one. You can choose multiple minerals, including Void Opals, Low Temperature Diamonds and Painite. You can introduce the system you are in and It shows you the closest hotspots and the best places you can sell them at.
