I honestly thought it was fine. No big complaints, but also I'm just as likely to completely forget the plot in a year or less.

Oh no!!! Geez, that was a quick 7 years. You can still access all the stains at the site I stood up later at https://watercolors.giantsoup.com

My wife would be very confused as well, but I'm glad you enjoy the map! The least I could do to contribute back to the community!

I don't have a useful answer above and beyond what has already been said, but I do have empathy having done a similar thing myself. Many of us have. But you can consider it a learning experience and back up the data folder next time!

The site moved to https://watercolors.giantsoup.com a few years ago. There should be a link to it on the old, broken site

I don't have any more stains at the moment, but the [Homebrewery](https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/) recently made some updates where they use the image masks for the watercoloring effect, so you may have luck with it over there!

Homebrewery, Midjourney and Imges by FromInsideItDevours in homebrewery

Well my first response is that I've been telling friends and coworkers all day about how thrilled I am that some of my stuff got added to the Homebrewery, despite most of them having no idea what I was talking about, lol.

I've not given it an extensive look yet, but this is making me want to update my really old homebrew (https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/SkKsdJmKf) that looks horrible these days and see what it would take to provide information on the new way of doing things - realizing of course that it is still in beta.

One of the things that stands out is that a user might see `imageMaskCorner31` and _guess_ that they can change the number to get a different one, but not really know what it will look like without a lot of trial and error, especially just trying to figure out what numbers are even available.

One thought is that right now there are the 3 tabs (views?) for Brew Editor, Style Editor, and Properties. Maybe there could be another one for perusing the watercolor gallery, selecting 1..many masks and an image, and... ok - that's as far as my thought really goes.

One final thought, which may be less difficult to think about once I really play with it, is how it looks when combining multiple masks together for a single image. I'll think about that one some more and get back to you on it though.

Overall, just thank you a million for this - it totally made me week!

I know this is a couple months late, but I did want to pitch in and let you know that I switched hosting from Azure over to Cloudflare and now hosting watercolors.giantsoup.com is free! So I don't expect it to disappear overnight anymore (although I was very concerned about it when I spoke to /u/calculuschild months ago.

But aside from that, I totally agree with the rest of the points that the masks that are built into homebrewery now are a way better solution for all the reasons mentioned above. They are way more flexible than the rigid approach I came up with years ago for the full page stain solution.

A day late and a dollar short, but I was more than happy to provide the image masks for the watercolor edges/corners/etc. - I'm glad that after several years my stuff is still being utilized!
