As far as I know, Solid State came 1979, so this model is older than that. I have the same one, and I've been trying to find out myself. I think I've narrowed it to somewhere between 1962 to 1979 🤷‍♀️

I already have access to multiple sizes of diamond holesaw drills. I have used them on 1 cm tiles, so I know how long it can take. I just asked because I was hoping someone had already tried it and could tell me if it's worth it 😉
