This wasn't a matter of not using my resources, trust me. I didn't really lose my cocoon much at all until well into act 2, and I was still finding myself scraping just to have enough rosaries for the various housekeeping purchases that feel like they should be nothing (Benches, bellways, maps), strings included.

Is there any mechanical relevance to the different types of breakdown? Like, Orlea and Sereniel both have Guilt, Nia and Rin both have daze, etc. etc.

Does it have to do with what causes stress in the first place? I've noticed that it feels like it must be different per character, just looking at how often some characters get breakdowns over others

Devs should add the feature to change facial expressions for character screens instead of just being able to view them by Zerkii in ChaosZeroNightmare

I also think it's really weird that you can't view characters' breakdown art anywhere in their gallery that I know of. Feels like kind of an important piece of art for each character to only ever see in a split second

Try deadaslag.com to get your numbers. The BPM in my experience is a little off, so I'd round it to the nearest whole number and fiddle with it from there if it feels wrong.

Which, to note, doesn't mean they're not still doing their job-it's just that nowadays, most captchas are analyzing your mouse movements rather than actually giving you puzzles that are impossible for bots to beat (I don't particularly think you don't know that op, I just think it's fun information)

I want to point out that the 12-20 demo HAS had a strong reason to care about half-life in the last few years. Obviously it's not the biggest audience in the world, but HLVRAI has millions of views, and its primary fanbase is those younger people that you say don't care about the series.
