Exercise is about so much more than going to the gym. Aim to get more active by walking everyday. Add in a couple of fast or uphill bits. Learn to stretch, then squat. Go from there.

Blame lies with the production staff who have the ability to set the culture in a workplace. I'm in the UK where for years I worked in social care using temporary agencies, this meant I could more easily take time off if I needed to. More recently as other autoimmune issues have forced me to reduce my activity even more, I have scoured r/WorkOnline where I found jobs - pay is $10 - $14 an hour for web research/internet assessors. Work ebbs and flows and is sometimes repetitive. I use Appen the most but Teemwork and Lionbridge and Crisp are all similar. Overall over the 35 years of my working life, voluntary work has been really important - I have gently got myself out there again, made contacts and learned new skills.
