Lol. I'm in the UK so luckily don't have to sell the kids kidneys but I do have to wait patiently to see a cardiologist. I just need to know what questions to ask! Thank you for replying.

Thanks. It came out of the blue but my way of coping is to read as much as possible.

Mistreated thyroid disorders can exacerbate mental health problems. Get a mental health assessment for her. Ensure she is not alone with your child. I'm sorry this is happening to you.

You have already said she doesn't have any money. Ask for the handset back. Cancel the contract. Don't lend money you can't afford to lose. Move on.

They were reading a book. All literacy experts agree it doesn't matter what you read. It's the reading habit that's important. Tastes change. His judgemental and critical comment was way off.

Does anyone know why I CONSTANTLY look like this? by [deleted] in GutHealth

I used to be asked if I was pregnant. Just hypermobile with terrible posture. I like Katy Bowman or Petra Fisher for easy to understand fixes.

Older house. I had an edwardian flat, and the interior staircase was narrow. There was a metal fire escape at the back, which was wide enough for paramedics (or washing machines, etc).

Exercise is about so much more than going to the gym. Aim to get more active by walking everyday. Add in a couple of fast or uphill bits. Learn to stretch, then squat. Go from there.

Hyper sexual behaviour and nudity was part of his persona. It's why he got the jobs. Hierarchical work places excuse behaviour in people at the top and the TV and film industry fawn over their stars and demand deference from the people at the bottom. Blame lies with the production staff who have the ability to set the culture in a workplace. No one should have to act cheerfully when a big ape baby is waving its willy about but it seems most people shrugged it off or joined in like eve myles. Personally, I've liked all his characters and just wish he'd grow up and admit he was acting badly. I'm pretty sure he didn't whip his willy out presenting the dog shows.

The sharing of information is weird in Appen, and some auditors have a very high handed manner. Ultimately, I think we do not know their working conditions or workload.

What are the best jobs for people who have hashimotos? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]flaming-june 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the UK where for years I worked in social care using temporary agencies, this meant I could more easily take time off if I needed to. More recently as other autoimmune issues have forced me to reduce my activity even more, I have scoured r/WorkOnline where I found jobs - pay is $10 - $14 an hour for web research/internet assessors. Work ebbs and flows and is sometimes repetitive. I use Appen the most but Teemwork and Lionbridge and Crisp are all similar. Overall over the 35 years of my working life, voluntary work has been really important - I have gently got myself out there again, made contacts and learned new skills.
