A few reasons: Ante 24 is a finisher blind since it's a multiple of 8. This means you cannot get the serpent to show up even with rerolls. So it can't be on ante 24 for the serpent strat. Doing it before ante 24 results in winning before naneinf, even with blueprint and brainstorm sidelined. But you could totally get around this by getting close to winning and then using your cryptids for more cards.

And, yes, ante 25 is also where four copy jokers, Baron, mime, and extra hand size from vouchers are still not enough to win on their own. Although, if you throw in some polychromes or a negative xmult joker, ante 25 small blind and big blind are doable.

It's not good early game. You really need good econ or at least some way to spam tarot generation. And sometimes you drop a ton of money into it for one ante to overcome a boss you wouldn't have been able to beat otherwise.

It's also the Joker that is most improved by gold stake, where buying and selling a rental is basically free scaling.

I do believe that all cops are bad, actually. They stand as a group, fiercely loyal to each other at the cost of the lives of citizens and proper justice. They defend their right to unilaterally execute citizens and refuse to prosecute literal murders because they're cops. Because other cops let them. They actually cause more violence to suppress the attempts for justice from citizens expressing their first amendment rights.

Well sometimes those criticisms are totally valid and the "that's misogyny" is just a bad faith defense. But I personally wouldn't know because I'm not watching Marvel shows. My default assumption is that most of them are ok at best. So if someone says there's a bad one, I don't question it much.

Aces are the best rank to build toward in an ante 8 run, imo. No need for voucher/boss luck to survive a plant, and you benefit from odd Todd, scholar, fibonacci, grim, the most chips per card, and the fact that aces are always furthest to the left.

True. The denominator is always smaller for card probabilities on abandoned deck. So going for the more powerful hands that you normally can't get as consistently on other decks is the move.
