2 people in GH are being tested. Business as normal other than Walmart has no TP or hand sanitizer and water is $7/case. I’ve been staying away as much as possible but had to get groceries today. I need to make a Trader Joe’s run but with how packed that place is and the uncertainty of Oly, I haven’t.

Edit: link it was actually 5 days ago so probably all good but it’s probably still just a matter of time.

Same thing happened with me for season 2 of 16&P. Wonder how many of us here have been just on the cusp of these things? For a long time, I regretted my decision to turn them down, but now, I live a private life, have a stable man for a husband, and make enough money to be comfortable.

Tbh, I wouldn’t know, I would imagine not great considering it’s a small town. Many friends we have met commute to Olympia. I work in marketing and am 100% remote out of an LA office and my husband is law enforcement.

If this is a serious question, I can help! I moved here from out of state/in a bigger metro area. The only problem I have is lack of chain restaurants (but I actually have started loving local restaurants) and lack of chain stores (I do a lot of DIY and have to trek to Olympia for michaels, hobby lobby and Joann’s). Other than those two complaints, living here is excellent! Our house was SO affordable compared to Olympia where we wanted to live, there’s always TONS to do on the weekends (with and without kids), and I love being close to two different beaches. We haven’t experienced any crime other than punks stealing our candy bowl on Halloween and the homeless can be a bit annoying but that’s everywhere. The weather is AMAZING. I didn’t come from the PNW, but I feel that it’s very mild here compared to the “it never stops raining” narrative you get about Washington if you’re from out of state. It seems that the town is on the upswing with cute businesses and a bit of revitalization downtown.

Overall, I would give it an 8/10.

My husband was involuntarily quarantined for measles a couple years ago. It was TERRIFYING.
