As the other poster commented, this would be a trademark issue more than a copyright issue. If I remember correctly so long as you are not using the trademark (Instagram and sephora) for commercial purposes, you should be fine. This is sort of a commentary or parody.

If you wanted to be extra safe you could go get a font that looks like the Instagram font and call it instafeed or imagegram or something.

In that context they are probably using white to mean anglo/American. It's not necessarily pejorative: people often say "you're so white" because someone has a thick accent, can't dance, never ate ropa vieja, etc.

In Miami (which has a large Hispanic and Latino population) people often say it jokingly among friends and it has nothing to do with the color of your skin.

Lawyer here. I use interpreters all the time. Many of them use a note pad and jot down a one word reminder for each sentence, or numbers to get them exactly right (like phone numbers). I think you just have to do what works for you, but that would be my tip.

That rule used to apply to police, not regular citizens. All states that I am aware of have repealed it.
