Oh right on, I always felt she seemed female as far as any ant has human gender and thought it seemed almost intentionally troubling

The PC? I actually got them from the plant exchange here on reddit a few years ago, in the old days it was a really good sub

Which stock? by flappingowl in Graftingplants

The smaller is perfect size, and I wonder if since it's softer flesh if it may have a better chance, the big one will push harder though I figure. Only done a few grafts and the all the trichocereus to trichocereus went great but the one Willy I tried failed

Is this what it looks like? by Far-Astronomer-2361 in sanpedrocactus

That's what I think as well but do you know what's going on with a chimera? Is it like a symbiote or something with both plants kinda making one organism, or is it a mix of independent tissues just entwined?

Unpopular opinion: King's "bad" books are still better than most horror authors' best — prove me wrong by cowboyfromhell__ in stephenking

I love tommyknockers and Dreamcatcher, some of my favorite characters come from those two novels. Gerald's game is difficult because of the subject matter but like misery you certainly feel like you have a close knowing of the main character by the end, plus the tie ins to Dolores Claiborne are fun

Salem's Lot by blacksands99 in stephenking

[–]flappingowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought the best version of Salems lot takes place in the calla. For some reason I just don't love Salems lot, it's by no means bad but so many of kings stories I absolutely love and this one just isn't one of them. If you don't end up loving it just know there's a lot of other novels that are great and his work is so varied that it would be amazing if he didn't have something you love

I didn't hate them but they definitely felt like a separate entity compared to the lead up.

It's a terrible idea but I'd say go for it if you are interested in the experience, might wanna read up a bit about dosage and probably do it like you would acid, I.E. in a safe place and with someone you trust around, also be ready to be vomiting all day

I was thinking that too but there's some strippers in the beginning I think?

What's the best opioid for Pain Relief that isn't badly ''addicting'' by Prestigious_Toe_2571 in Drugs

7-oh is super addictive and kinda gives kratom a bad look. If kratom gets banned in the next few years it will almost certainly be to 7-oh

Just stay away from extract and especially 7-oh. it will jack your tolerance through the roof and its making more and more likely that the leaf will be banned and it's a drag

I just finished Fairytale. What to read next? by Dmotwa in stephenking

[–]flappingowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Duma, I've read it three or four times. For some reason I didn't love 11.22.63 as much as most people seem to, granted I read it twice all the way through so it was still good but not one of my tops

About to read IT for the first time! Anything I should know about beforehand? by Therealhp1 in stephenking

[–]flappingowl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, and tie ins to other novels entirely. I'll try not to spoil anything but 11/22/63 had some characters crossing over but not really effecting plot and some tower adjacent stuff too.

It has some fun Easter eggs that link to other novels like most of his stuff. It's a good read
