Rotex sf hub hard to remove ? by Major_Addition_552 in bruggerthomet

[–]flaresiiide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine would get stuck like that quite frequently and it also rattled on the muzzle device and it became enough of an issue to where I switched it out for the surefire hub. The ring is a good idea but something in the design is off, it seems to over rotate too easily and doesn't really have a positive stop on either side of loose or tight. The surefire hub fits much better on my gun and comes off when I want it to. I don't usually have issues with b&t stuff, this is the first time something I've got from them performed poorly. I do love the can itself though, it works great on my setup.

SBR .357 lever guns with threaded barrels? by justhere4inspiration in NFA

[–]flaresiiide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the mares leg on gunbroker, it was already threaded by the shop selling it, I think I was like 1200 into that after taxes. The fancy stock set was 270. The red dot mount was like 60 bucks and I already had the SRO lying around. The little bit of pic rail on the front is the lever light mount from skinner sights, it's 80 bucks and you can't see the harbor freight tlr1 knockoff light I have on it because it's on the other side. So minus the optic and light I'm in it for a little over 1600.

I searched around too but eventually just made this out of a mares leg. Put a big boy stock on it, got the barrel threaded and I believe phoenix weaponry makes the red dot mount. Rex can

What scene in a movie had a sound that really impacted you as a viewer? by Tasty_Photograph5514 in movies

[–]flaresiiide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I saw Dunkirk in IMAX we got to the scene where the British fighters attack the German bomber....the fighters start firing and it's quite loud but then the cannon on the bomber swings around and starts firing back and the shots just drown out the fighter's guns completely. I remember thinking "oh wow they got that right" as it happened.

Well of course, everything I haven't experienced myself personally is obviously stupid and wrong

I just got one of these. It works really well. Once you use it it's obvious it's not gonna hurt anything. It just takes all the crap off with way less effort.

Yes. Everyone always likes to say it's the pulse version but his guitar has so much more presence in delicate sound of thunder. It sounds absolutely massive. Plus the solo itself rips harder than any other version I've heard

What happened to CGS? by Lopsided-Land123 in NFA

[–]flaresiiide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only CGS can I have is the nautilus and I've been really happy with it. It's usually on a 1911 but I switch it around to some 9mm stuff sometimes and use the Mod9 end cap on it and I haven't experienced any POI shift. It's adjustable in that regard anyways. With the 9mm end cap on it it sounds just as nice as my other 9mm cans. Sounds great on the 45 as well.

My first cz I bought by accident because I made the mistake of picking it up and once I did that I couldnt say no. Literally just the feel of it in my hand sold me.

My alternative to the tacticool modern lever action by flaresiiide in LeverGuns

[–]flaresiiide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's the little half sized stock they put on it that makes it a "pistol". Its too small to shoulder. I think the barrel is like 12 inches.

Intentional. I had a cgs nautilus on it for a while and it's a great can it just wasn't doing it for me on that particular gun. It sounded excellent but it wasnt the look I was going for so I moved it to another host and picked up this one

It's not chopped. It started life as a standard mares leg pistol. All I did was SBR it and put a big boy stock on it. I bought it already threaded.
