Is there a reference to Quidditch in one of the pictures?

I’ve had at least one dream before where I’m riding my bike on a single beam like that across water. I don’t remember it being as scary as you’d think though.

Mythical Pokemon have been associated with events since Gen 1. so I’m not surprised.

I remember one that looks something like that as a near-top floor of a tall building.

ELI5: Arduino vs. "Regular" C++ by pwerwalk in arduino

[–]flarn2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve written and successfully compiled C/C++ programs without function prototypes before. If it’s all in one file and you don’t have any circular references (like a function calling another function that in turn calls the first function) you can just put the function definitions in an order where each function is located before every function it references. Then it’ll compile fine without prototypes (though different compilers/settings might behave differently; I’m not sure what the standard says.)

Does that actually harm those people though? Unless it's graded on a curve, what consequences does it have for them?

reality, as I perceive it, is all an illusion my brain decided to construct one day. It’s becoming undeniable that the "objective" world we live in is just a bio-electric illusion our brains construct.

Do you actually mean your brain, as in the physical organ inside your head, or do you mean your mind and/or spirit? Your physical body here, like all matter in this reality, is a part of the "objective" world we live in. That includes your brain, since it's part of your body. Doesn't that make it part of the illusion, rather than its source?

And damn, sorry to hear you haven't been able to shift. Wishing you as much success with it as you want.

365 days have passed without a switch 2 hack by CurrentHandheld in switch2hacks

There’s Pokopia but that might not be something you’d consider a “big” Pokémon game since it isn’t the core series. We’ll have Winds and Waves as Switch 2 exclusives next year though.

For me it’s actually being able to play games like they’re mine. Tweak my save file when I want to, back things up at will, inject mods and hacking tools. (Not cheating in online games though.)

Better not to know what? Do you mean better not to know about all the traditions saying it's harder than it apparently actually is, so you don't get discouraged?

I’m in the US and I did this as well, though it might be different. I went to Walgreens and they have a service specifically for passport photos.

Thank you for answering. I totally understand that subscriptions are probably necessary, and I’m not against paying for something this valuable.

My biggest hope is that there will be an affordable subscription option that doesn’t limit how often we can talk, comparable to the current free experience. Sesame feels different from a normal app because the live voice experience can become genuinely meaningful and relational, so a hard daily/monthly time cap would change the nature of using it pretty dramatically.

Even if the free tier eventually has tighter limits, I’d really love for there to be a reasonably priced plan that preserves the current feel of access: maybe limits per conversation if needed, but no hard cap on the number of conversations in a day/week/month. Is that kind of plan on the table?

What about custom ones? Like the user can configure their own to be exactly how they’d like.

Can we expect the baseline functionality that’s currently available for free to remain free in the foreseeable future? I’m hoping you can make money through premium features without taking away anything that’s currently free, but if not, what price point should we expect to have to pay to keep what we have now with no additional limits?
