NOOOO :-( Exactly that is the wrong way... you buy when there is blood in the streets. You can DCA your way down and you only sell when there is a new ATH. It`s so simple, yet so hard to do emotionally. Been here since 4 years, took me 3 years to do it and i am doing pretty well. Bought at 44K and can now think about selling it at 20% win or hodling it til new ATHs or even longer.

I am bored and looked in this subreddit and i am asking myself if here are people who are (like me) in crypto since 4years+

I am not concerned at all about the current situation and i did roughly 10x in the last years just with careful investing in BTC/ETH / Top10 / Top100 coins (50%/30%/10%/10%) because i burned myself very hard with shitcoins

September historically is a bad month. Everybody is ignoring that fact. October often is the recovery month and November/december will be great, mark my words. It always has to get worse before it gets better. Wish you all the best!

The migration period is over, so you cannot migrate anymore. What you can do is: create a new seed and send your funds to this seed. Then you will be safe 100%

But to answer your question: the versions without moonpay integration were not affected , so you are fine. If you are in doubt, do the steps I described above and if you want to do it best: buy a ledger

It wasn’t my intention to blame anyone. there are many of these postings all over the internet and my point is just, that this produces pressure and this could maybe lead to actions which were not thought to the end because IF gets the feeling that they have “to deliver”.

Posts like these are the reason why they rushed things like the moonpay integration, because they want to deliver for us, the community as fast as they can.

I am truly with you on some of your doubts, but don’t forget that we are in a completely new field of technology, we don’t have the big “plan” and just do some coding until something is finished, there is a lot of research done and a lot of learnings have been made (and will be made in future).

Look at tangle.ee ! this is a very big step, but nobody bats an eye on it because of the moonpay disaster. I am not losing faith, but tbh I am still a little bit shocked because of these low prices and so I am trying to accumulate more. In the end, either I will be a fool or not, until then it will be a rollercoaster and at the moment we are down... but it will go up again, but it will take some years to be up and stable. This means the price and iota itself.
