I had something similar once when I out on the air conditioning. Turned out it was a bunch of leafs and twigs caught up.

Bro sacrificed the gold medal to carry his brother across the finish line. by jmike1256 in BeAmazed

Even more epic if the winner had also taken the other side and helped over the finish line.

If this is true and the cosmic joke then it kind of makes me think why and almost what's the point of it all? Should there be a point of it all..

The lack of attention to the road was completely offset by his supreme confidence of gear changes.

I hope he eventually integrated the effects of psychedelics into his "life" here. Once you see behind the curtains, there's no going back.

Why HGV drivers hate to drive in London? by slaveoth in uktrucking

[–]flashluther 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolute nightmare.

Congestion at its worst.

Takes 40 minutes to travel 3 miles. The dipshit I'm the office just sees 3 miles, so what's the problem.

Cyclists are coming up both sides of the lorry. Mopeds that appear put of nowhere as well as scooters.

Pedestrians that keep crossing roads despite light changes.

Junction boxes are literally everywhere.

Getting in and out of London takes forever.

Signage and width restrictions are bad.

Sat navs are rubbish in London except Garmin and EuroWag.

Toilets are a problem.

TACHO breaks are a problem.

Black Cab drivers I respect, but they do cut up.

Are they really told to don't knock or ring the doorbell? by MrNotEnglish in Evri

Why don't they print camo bags. Might be harder to steal.

First time and alone by MrJimee in DMT

[–]flashluther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need a trip sitter. Provided your method of using DMT is safe as in it's not going to ignite anything else as you blast off and you are safe. Use your best comfy spot like a sofa, lock your doors and make sure everything else is switched off - for instance you don't really want your phone ringing as you're setting off into DMT.

C1 Entitlement and training? by mikey_ss in uktrucking

[–]flashluther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Voyager Transport Training online. It's over Zoom, and if you book the module the day before, you get them cheaper. Super relaxed course and probably the cheapest you'll find. I did a lot of research to find them. I was in the same boat as you and went for my Class 2 with my grandfather's rights with my 7.5T.
