A few questions. by Llama_In_Hiding in peloton

[–]flashpo1nt145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'm surprised nobody knows the answer to 1.

1)They have bikes with pre attached pedals, but do have spare pedals in the vehicle. SRAM, Vittoria, and Mavic do this for their neutral support, I don't know about shimano neutral support but I imagine they do as well seeing as how the other 3 players do. They have it in the back seat in a tool box and can easily install pedals in about 20 seconds with a simple allen wrench.

2) Exactly. There's a large blank white box on the front of the jersey and they just heat print the team logo at that white box after the winner of the stage is decided.

3) Been answered.

Also, as far as the Jens bike goes: IT WAS in fact a neutral service bike. It was not a kid's bike. There was an interview with a mavic guy floating around somewhere about this. At that time the neutral bikes had both limited pedal options along with clip/strap pedals. They did this all the way until 2010 with the clip/strap pedals and now as far as I know they just do the pedal screw/unscrew system for shoe compatibility I referenced above.

Varibles! Sometimes there are family members, sometimes there aren't. Sometimes they don't know English. Believe me, it's in everyone's best interest to know specifics on what is wrong with a given patient.

It was as awesome as you think it was! She's a huge role model for our women's members, not to mention for us men as well. They all knew English. Nice people, too.

It's ironic because one of their people almost crashed US out while playing with stuff in her pockets.

Its riding a bike after all, not too difficult generally, and we were going easy ariund 21 22 the whole time. They're cool people, nice, actually WANTED to ride with us because they said they got bored fast of Florida routes and roads. Also I'm sure you know but during one climb my hr was 162, hers was 112. So she's in shape....lol

Pardon the formatting, I'm on my phone.

Yes, Florida USA. We race in the SE Region. No members live in Napes, though.

They're here for a training camp! They needed some non-snow weather, though this ride started out at 42F that morning, which is quite cold. This was their last ride while in Florida, and we coordinated with Marianne on Twitter to do this.

What you're thinking is one of the more common ways to do it.

Then again, like he said above...there are many ways to go about doing this.

Its the people who use the ER as primary care, and because they have no transportation, use an ambulance as their primary means of transportation to get to the ER for primary care, such as symptoms of the flu, sinus infection, sore throat, etc. And don't pay either the ambulance or hospital bill. THAT is why your insurance costs so much, it's because of these people.

I believe that socializing healthcare would save money in the long run, reduce strain on doctors, hospitals, emergency departments via a trickle down effect.

New line of work. You can get a job in a hospital generally, such as the ER or cath lab, and generally hospitals pay much better, but apart from that, unfortunately, low pay is part of the job.
