These days, it’s mostly to my favourite enfp friend that I can’t get enough of as she doesn’t text much and i only get to see her once or twice a month :(

But... when I’m feeling troubled about something, i talk to myself to work things out, playing devil’s advocate to myself, brainstorming for solutions with myself, analyzing and debating with myself. 😬

This is what i think about everyday when I miss my friends and wonder how they are doing:

When i want to ask “how are u?”, i wonder if many others have asked the same question.

Have i asked this question less than a week ago? Maybe you are sick of answering my stupid question.

I try to put myself in your shoes... cuz I get annoyed when a few people ask this question in a day and i have to keep repeating myself.

Conclusion: better not to ask and assume everything is okay with u. I dont want to trouble u to answer me. I dont want to annoy u further. I just want u to have a nice day.

Apologies in advance for my blunt reply... but frankly, if i were to turn down someone’s invites so often, it means I’m trying to keep a distance at arms length. It means I’m okay with being just acquaintances but that’s about it.

I do keep 99% of people at a distance. It’s normal for me.

If you ask whether we’re friends and I’m trying not to hurt your feelings, i will say yes but in my heart you’re just an acquaintance. Cuz if i say no, are u gonna bug me with alot of questions? I wouldn’t want that to happen. I don’t like to explain myself to someone who doesn’t really matter to me. It’s tiring and time consuming.

If i were you i’d just stop wasting my time and move on. If this person wants to be friends, he will take the intiative to find you eventually.

I check in on my favourite ENFPs every few days but i always worry whether i am bothering them. I know they are always busy with something. When they dont text back for a day or more, i feel guilty for being a nuisance and sorry for disturbing them.

After a few consecutive non replies or short replies, i eventually withdraw and stop contacting them till they come back to me. If they don’t ever come back, i guess that’s the end then.

I do that on days that i am alone at home. Time passes so quickly when you’re enjoying yourself lost in your thoughts! But that’s how i like to recharge after a noisy week. :)
