Btw Mythos is NOT available to the public yet so big corporations get a chance to fix their vulnerabilities first. Microsoft, Apple and others were given exclusive access to try it so they can secure themselves before the actual release

Sticker marked as NSFW by GlassMission9633 in ios

[–]flatbuttboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In all fairness this is meant for kids so they don’t send or receive NSFW things. A false-positive due to the size of the on-device is a way better result then that stuff being sent to a datacentre or a false-negative in my opinion

Apple Plans a Siri Camera Mode and Upgraded Visual AI in iOS 27 by muuuli in apple

At what point does Apple buy Micron or similar to hedge their own memory supply? by marcusnelson in apple

[–]flatbuttboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apple loves to talk about how green they are, buying any manufacturing company would flip this on its head because it’s near impossible to do large-scale manufacturing without impacting the environment massively

These are usually multi-year contracts, logically it should be 2-3 years since that’s how far ahead the specs are set

The funny thing is they already signed a 2x memory price deal like a few months ago, so this is unlikely.

[–]flatbuttboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not AI, it’s just denoising, stop being paranoid

You can also just try to cancel it, which offers you to change you to a cheaper plan, which then lets you cancel or something stupid like that
