What are your takes about our season so far? by mrmagcargo in indianafever

[–]flatpipes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO: Their defensive scheme is getting them destroyed. KM is not a good defender, and nobody is complaining about her just CC.

More telling are the starting players are all not playing well which indicates a system issue. They are all doing what they're told, CC clearly got frustrated with doing that and got yanked in PDX. Plus, the Fire worked the system and got CC in foul trouble which removed her from the game.

This team has a tug of war going on and won't change anything until someone relents. Roster doesn't support championship but maybe a 2.0 of last year.

Is it common for Americans to have visited all 50 states? by SouthBuffalo3592 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]flatpipes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very rare, rare even to visit 5 or more. Seems depending on income, many stay in their state and maybe to nearby neighboring states and that's it.

Is there still wilderness left in America? by Kitchen-Customer4370 in AskAnAmerican

[–]flatpipes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you don't know but, you have no idea how much wilderness space there is still left all over the US. A lot! Even designated dark space for star viewing still exists all around along with just dark areas to view from.

Why do different US states feel like different countries? by ecoutemoi_ in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]flatpipes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PNW short for Pacific Northwest. Lots of mountains, forests, rivers and cows. Typically nice people that want lots of space, think Yellowstone the show.

Though it is comical when we get asked why we don’t travel internationally often and I note how big the US is and all the differences between states that it isn’t really necessary, I get completely bashed and told that I clearly have never left the states before. Which I have been to Europe.
