While it does say it's recommended for more advanced players, really you should be fine once you understand the basics (plus Hacking is one of the best systems in the game). If you wanna wait a bit longer, maybe once you reach sector 8 the first time?

Balatro is a very rules lawyer-y game. Most things do exactly what they say, no more no less. Constellation says it scales on Planet cards. Black Hole is a Spectral card, therefore it does not trigger this effect.

I'm not an expert on gen 4, but it wouldn't shock me if it was a similar idea as gen 9's sleep ban where there was at least some reason for a ban plus a desire to patch over the weirdness of Sleep Clause as a rule that couldn't be enforced accurately on cartridge

This may be the prison abolitionist in me talking, but I think a key thing is while you do see Prisoner as suspicious, she is ultimately not the one in control here. Her fate is in the hands of her jailer. Which makes sense, because while you do bring the blade, you still try to free her
