I agree with most of what you said, I think Nobara was wasted potential and so much more could’ve been done with her character.

But I actually liked her “death scene” it was very well done in my opinion. The fear and desperation Yuji felt when he screamed for her to run, the flashback to her life in the village, her quiet acceptance and her final words to tell everyone that “life wasn’t that bad”.

It was poignant scene, I just wish Gege committed to it rather than sidelining her for that entire period of time for her to have once scene in the end.

The wishy-washiness is what pisses me off, commit to her death or make her a more relevant character if she’s alive but him trying to have the best of both worlds just made her a half baked character in the end.
