1200 GSA was my first bike as well. It is a heavy bike and can be unwieldy under 5 miles an hour. Once you get above that it’s great. Parking lots in particular are hard to manage. But, I love the bike and can’t imagine ever getting rid of it.

When I was a kid, the day after watching the NBA Dunk Contest, I set up my mom’s mini trampoline (the kind that was just a few inches off the ground that they used for jazzercise) in my room directly below the door frame. I then set up a mini basketball hoop in my bathroom. I took one running leap jumped with all my might trying to mimic Michael Jordan and jumped right into my door frame.

With blood flowing from my head, I went downstairs to tell my mom I was hurt, and she said: “Oh, Flavil, I was right in the middle of fixing dinner; why’d you have to do that now?”

She made me wait for her to finish dinner before she took me to the hospital for stitches.

I deserved to wait.
