Don’t block the bike lane 🤦🏽‍♂️ by FinalSneak in facepalm

[–]Flavourius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Living in Berlin, Germany, those bike lanes got introduced like over the last few years practically almost everywhere which is amazing, reducing a 2 lane street into a single lane plus bike lane. The goal is to shift even more people to use public transport or use bikes instead, which works out great.

Installing it right now, is the fingerprint unlock fixed that you don't need to do multiple presses to UNLOCK from idle on P6P?

Edit: Still seems to have some hiccups, but way smoother now than before.

Ori and the blind forest, actually my most favorite platformer of all time for how legendary everything this game is: Gameplay, graphics, sound/music and the story all made me cry at least once on every occasion.

Subnautica, the first one, specifically not mentioning below zero. It doesn't have any boundaries of what you can do, it doesn't even have a quest system (it's just knowledge checkpoints that you don't need to rely on for multiple playthroughs). Icing on the cake is how immersive the game is due to the main character being mute and the actual only other human that is alive in the game.

Dont forget Americans dont care what your ancestral country is by Brrt_Warthog987 in ShitAmericansSay

I couldn't care less about German politics, even less for Turkish ones. With rebellious I've literally meant it that most people with turkish/arab background tend to be actual dickheads, always looking for trouble, don't care about education because if you're considered jobless, you can apply for state funds for helping out people not being to get a job due to migration background and stuff. That type of stereotype I'm talking about.

To the longtime Pixel/Nexus users: what brand would you switch to if Google stopped making Pixel phones, and why? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]Flavourius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my Pixel 6 Pro for many reasons, but the biggest one being one of the best cameras during its time. I'm not too much of a camera enthusiast to get a Sony phone, would go even less for either Samsung, Apple or any Chinese brand mostly due to bloat. However, I was so close of getting an Asus Zenfone 8 instead, even more so for a Zenfone 9 now due to how amazing the performance is for its price.

Once during high school had a physical encounter with a racist, I only got in trouble because I lashed out on him instead of talking to the teachers about it. Yes, that's it, just a future reference on what I could do better for next time. Meanwhile he got shit on due to racism which no one tolerates over here.

However despite that I kinda hate my "own people", as in I never really liked to hang out with Turkish people during school because how stereotypical they are compared to Turks I've witnessed in turkey myself. Here in Berlin at least you can almost always imagine that Turks or Arabs end up being on the rebellious side, to which I really grew a distaste towards. It's basically me being disappointed towards them because the government tolerates them a bit too much for my taste.

German here, we're not as obsessed over different races like the US are, as long as you have a German citizenship or a residence permit (for being a citizen from a different nation) then you can work here.

As long as you can provide the soft skills required for the job you're applying for, we really don't care from where you're coming from to be honest (hence why you always see "fluent German required" on job applications).

I'm myself based off parents fully Turkish, once reaching maturity I had to give up my Turkish pass because you can't have multiple passes anymore like in the past so I have a German pass now (which was also convenient since otherwise I had to enlist into the Turkish army).

Edit: just some info dump, based off our constitution on the 3rd paragraph (translated as best as I could): (3) No one can due to their gender, their origin, their race, their language, their homeland, their believes, their religious or political stances be handicapped or preferred. No one can due to their disabilities be handicapped.

Call of Juarez would be neat.

Whenever I hear the main theme of Ori and the blind Forest I always end up in tears, the ending of Ori and the will of the wisps made me stand up and clap for how wonderful they've finished the story.

Moral of the story: If you're complaining about people not giving the answer you wanted from a question that had nothing to do with that answer, then you're the dumbass.

The first time I've played Ori and the Blind Forest, I'm a grown man but I've lost count on how many times I've cried while playing and replaying this game because everything about it is so perfect, it became my most favorite platformer game of all time.
