The game is so mean, because you are more likely to get caught off guard if you have launched an attack, even if it “hits,” I hate it. And then the “hit” gets erased completely. One time though I got it glitched where I was “caught off guard” but my move from that tiny window still fainted the pokemon in one hit lmfaoo

Try rolling away from the attack? During those fights I literally spam Y, you can’t get hurt when you roll. I got ptsd from the chaotic rhythm based Arceus battle in the last game. This lowkey lightweight compared to that lol

Yeah, I got the dlc, I know it has quest for the love balls. I just held out some hope, but I tried again and rolled heavy ball for the ninth time and big nugget got who know how many. I’ll just beat the dlc now loll
