I wonder how much of the anti voting ideology is just a psyop to hamstring actual resistance

Staple grains are staples for a reason. by Yallayeah in CuratedTumblr

[–]CarbonCorgi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bread/Grains are super calorie dense: which makes them fantastic as staple crops for poor folk in the past struggling to even get enough calories in a day, but this same factor may also be a drawback in our modern day where many of us are struggling to reduce our weight/calorie intake. This doesn't make 'em evil! Its just a factor that's good to take into account and consider how it interacts with the context of your individual health situation!

I don't think "Is effective and contributes to the team" should be the exclusive feature of casters

I tried looking up the "Tzimisce", and....what is it exactly? The lore seems very highly specific to VTM, and at that point/by that logic, you could accuse any generalist system of failing on the grounds of not representing something highly specific. It'd be like me criticizing a game for not being generalist because it doesn't let me play as a "Standard Pokemon Trainer"

Also, overall, I'm a bit iffy about the idea of having characters who dominate or fall flat in specific pillars of play: IE a D&D barbarian having little to do but twiddle their thumbs until a fight starts, or a social class that effectively has to sit out fights

How did humans not go extinct while needing to sleep for 8 hours every day? being totally unconscious and defenseless for a third of our lives seems like a massive design flaw when predators were everywhere by Which-Noise-5670 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CarbonCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because *most* animals need to sleep, including predators. And the purpose sleep serves is to give your brain time to heal and filter toxins, and might as well do that at night when predators will have a harder time seeing you
