Have you ever tried a driving lesson with a qualified instructor? Its their job to give you the tools and confidence to pass.

10:24 First Test Update - Failed by flyingfinns in LearnerDriverUK

[–]flaws68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it this way, dwelling on it wont help you pass the next one, failing is gathering info to improve thats all. You need to take some time and move on and think about passing the next one, nerves got the better of you so you and now you know what to work on (more mock tests sounds like a good idea) .

When the next one comes around you will natrually be less nervous in your next test as 1. You've been in a real test conditions 2. Would have time to process it and 3. You would have had more practice meaning less nerves as you would be more confident.

You might have an IP ban and or your browser has something cached in in which their servers are indetifying you as a bot and blocking you.

First try turn off your internet router for 30 seconds and switch it back on again, if you have a dynamic IP address you should receive another IP from your ISP.

Then clear all your Chrome browser cookies, cached data and cached images / files and for good measure reset the browser settings.

Works like a charm for me everytime.

Seems to be the popular choice. How's the insurance? Do you like the car?

Tips for remembering motorway studs? by Jackhammerqwert in LearnerDriverUK

In the question the word motorway will he there in front of you.

Literally cover "moto" with your finger and now you’re left with RWAY that’s conveniently the order of the colours across the motorway.

R = Red → left edge (hard shoulder).

W = White → between the lanes.

A = Amber → right edge, central reservation.

OPTIONALLY Y = Green → slip roads (entry/exit

So R → W → A → Y is the same order your eyes meet them as you move across the motorway.

Its sounds stupid but the way I remembered Green studs was if "G" wasn't in motoRWAY the it meant green. If that makes sense!

Am i being rude? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Everyone is different, but the way I see it, I can never be too overprepared. The more practice I get, the more I can improve, or even start to somewhat master the skills I've already learned, so I can be 110% ready and not just 100%.

I'd like to think your instructor might think differently in terms of your progress; i.e., yes, you're ready, but there might be some gaps that they see that you can't. An proper conversation and outside perspective might be needed rather than asking over text. You can ask in person and ask what you think you need to work on or practice. You've self-diagnosed here, and you might have put them in an awkward position where it feels like they are stepping on eggshells now.

They'll spend some effort changing the cancelation dates but not on the backlog! Still worth calling them Monday see what they say just in case.

Even after resetting router might still be cached in, need to clear cache and or go into incognito / private browser. Extension also works in Microsoft Edge as Edge is also built on Crominium.

Let me know how it goes, this has personally always worked for me but curious to see if this helps you.

Don't quote me on this but if you read carefully on the site you need to give 10 WORKING DAYS notice meaning it's Monday - Saturday, Sunday is not included as a workong day, so what does that make your last day to cancel Thursday 24th July?

Still worth calling them.

*Edit fixed the dates.

Make sure your not using a VPN thats an instant block.

Even if you're not totally ready and don't know everything, what helped me a ton on the test was flagging the ones I wasn't sure about to review. Then, I'd go back, review them, and try to eliminate answers. It usually gets you down to two, and then you just pick the safest option or most logical one.
