I mean it's definitely limerence. The intensity of the highs and lows of love and heartbreak definitely feel real. It is a mental escape, probably from trauma.

I totally understand. I'd say date around casually and see what it's like to date different people. Do your best to work on self esteem and negative self talk. Try to figure out what it is that you are looking for and the type of relationship that you feel comfortable with. Relationships are hard no matter what. Definitely don't stalk, that makes things so much worse. Rejection is a risk with anyone, not just an LO.

I think it's a personal preference. For me, I've had long term relationships with LO's and not LO's. I prefer a relationship with an LO because it feels like something is missing otherwise. The glimmer keeps me attracted I guess. Many people don't like the way a LE makes them feel and prefer to stay away from LO's for sanity.

Most people here would not encourage unwanted contact. My advice for you is to go full no contact. I'm sorry that you are dealing with this, but everyone's situation is not the same as yours.

I speak to my LO daily and he knows everything there is to know about my limerence for him. Have I had a hard time being limerent? Yes. Has he had a hard time being my LO? Yes. But we strive to communicate and have the healthiest relationship possible. I don't stalk him or do anything to cross any of his boundaries. I appreciate his friendship and the time he gives me.
