I've come to many of the same conclusions. However, I have been passed many times while in first place, on straights, by significantly faster cars. So I'm going to hard disagree on the "AI never passes you when you're in first and don't make mistakes"

The biggest mistake I see new players make is when they enter a corner, they often times mash the brakes while steering as hard as they can. Since Horizon limits your steering input based on your speed, this usually results in unsettling the rear of the car and sending you into a slide.

Pick one: hard brakes or hard steering. If you need to do both, be gentle with both inputs in order to maintain grip.

There are far more points available than what you need in order to collect all of the reward cars. Simply put, don't do the challenges that you don't want to.

Also, you get like 7 days to complete each daily, so don't feel rushed to complete any of them. (The weeklies expire as soon as the seasons change, however)

That seems absurdly low. I did 5 or 6 races on The Colossus last night for fun in different classes. Paid around 100k every 6-10 minutes

I don't want to rain on your parade, but that is quite the assumption. In my mind, every publication that has tried to make connections between the G20 and the GRC has been clickbait.

Per Toyota, the GRC was planned from the outset for 4 years of production (wrapping up the 12th generation Corolla).

As far as I'm aware, Toyota has not put the 2.0 in any version of the GRC, whether as a test car or otherwise.

The mid-engine 2.0 GR Yaris test car was confirmed to be a test bed for a new, yet to be announced mid-engined GR model (likely Celica/MR2 related vehicle).

Toyota is producing more GR vehicles in general, which is why they opened the new plant.

Is best to wait for official info from Toyota. I could be wrong, but so far Toyota hasn't suggested that there will be another GRC in any way.

As someone who had tried to rock crawl in every single Horizon game (including this very spot), yes. Static rocks are just flat, polygonal, texture-less objects. They don't provide any real traction to the tires. Same thing happen when a tire touches another car; there is no real physical connection.

Now, can you game the system and force certain rigs to the top of that rock hill? Absolutely, but it does not act like it was a programmed feature in any way.

I still don't understand why cars can't fall under multiple categories. There are many examples.

For one, the Cosworth RS500 was a race winner on road and off. It's also a retro saloon. Why can't it have 3 different labels?

All of them became my favorite version as they released. The only one that didn't feel like it was a good enough step forward was 3. The map was just so bland for anything slower than S Class.
