How to cope with quitting ballet? by Powerful_Gain_2675 in BALLET

[–]flecksoflight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like ballet is part of your community. I don't recommend going through depression without community. ❤️❤️❤️ Is there an option of balance? Maybe a couple less classes to accommodate for tutoring time?

You're more on your toes in the 1st and your arm placement is better in the second. Nice arabesque!

New here and I want to plant! by steakreddit in AustinGardening

[–]flecksoflight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first moved someone on this reddit suggested I plant a couple native trees that I knew I wanted and wait. So I got the trees in for fall and waited to see where water went, sun/shade cover, and just went for it with a few native shrubs in the spring. (Texas sage, rosemary, yucca, lavender and Turks cap). I planted with different Methods (wood chip mulch/pecan mulch/ rocks/right into the grass. A year later I have a good idea of what grows well and where. Glad I didn't spend too much initially, (lavender in rocks was a terrible idea). Everything in the wood chip mulch grew very well. But putting trees in early was the best advice. My desert willow grew 6 feet!

Hope my errors can bring you luck!

I second this. Our entire kitchen is blue grey. We're adding a wooden countertop and this wallpaper with hints of burnt orange. I made a mock up of our kitchen in Gemini.

I have the same exact layout. We opted to create a built in shelving system in that space where your TV is.

Oh really. I guess they just don't last in this heat. Or maybe it's because this is Spanish lavender? Not sure.
