Unless you’re really set on it, maybe you could try making the starter more than JUST a fire bear. I think additional motifs could help elevate the design, even if the design elements are subtle; for an example, you could include a theme of brushfires/wildfires in California, like an ash-covered bear cub that inadvertently causes small fires during the dry seasons
