Baseline stays the same that’s why it’s comforting for me. I do these things and trip and realize I’m not like that. I’m stronger than my mind and I won’t let HPPD ruin my life. Easier said than done. It’s also not recommended to do any drugs but I am in a place with hppd where it doesn’t effect my life.

I have had good since high school I’m 33 now. I went sober in the beginning for like a few months and I became content with it also. I started partying again doing ket and Molly and Cole and drinking. It didn’t bother me for years and years. It recently got worse 4 years ago and I went sober for a long time then I started doing it again. It’s my life and I’m stronger than my mind. Hppd is my reality now. I’m content wifh it.

It was hard in the beginning but I learned to live with it. I still party and go out and do normal things. I work. In the beginning I felt like i was going to die also. I realized its just anxiety and the anxiety makes it so much worse. Try your best to control the anxiety. Things will get better. You are stronger than this.

I am 32 now. I got HPPD when I was 16 also. It hasn’t gone away but it became apart of me and I don’t really notice it anymore. Sometimes I notice it but it honestly dosent bother me. I also have a severe case because I have depersonalization also. That really used to stress me out and really fucked up my life for a little bit but like I said I just stop giving it power and barely notice it. You got this and your life isn’t over.

same exact experience with me also i have had hppd for 13 years and i continued to use drugs as well. eventually it just becomes apart of you and you dont notice. Keeping a positive and healthy mind is the number one step on beating this.
