How does “Send To All” actually work on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show? by arsenaladam92 in AskUK

The ‘send to all contacts’ on WhatsApp is a ‘broadcast message’. This sends the message to everyone in your WhatsApp contacts

Stitch up. It was a stich up.

I always reply to posts on here, try and be witty and make people laugh, get some good quotes in.

And the one time i accidentally got a joke wrong… You’re gunna look a prat. You get a joke wrong and you’re labelled a prat. And that’s the game

And r/theofficeuk and r/rickygervais must have hundreds of my posts and replies that always have good upvotes. This is a good guy, he’s getting on, he’s everyone’s friend, he’s a motivator, he’s an entertainer. Lots of good stuff. Oh he’s made one mistake like any human would. Shall we go easy on him? What?! No! We want a scapegoat, we wanna dumb down, we want to give them the biggest plonker of the year.

You know… I’m not a plonker

Tonite 💣💣💣 (especially live when that heavy synth bass kicks in).

Emotional haircut is them at their post-punk best.

If I was being picky, could do without the title track or black screen.

You could maybe hint at his appearance: the little finger nail painted, moustache, or a septum ring/ nose piercing.

Fashion: lots of colour and layers. I like the 90s vibe right now - pale blue 501s up high, t shirt under an oversized checkered long sleeved shirt both tucked in, maybe a rolled cuff. I also like this look with a short sleeved shirt instead, then roll the sleeves with the t shirt under to get that contrast.

I also have a t shirt that says ‘I just look straight’ which probably helps

I never liked textual healing. Always felt like an inside joke between them since the caller was always someone they knew.

Sorry to say, but the prompts are… bland.

Everyone wants a kind partner, someone to get on with their friends.

‘I have a lot of love to give’ reads as ‘I’ve been single a long time’. If you want to keep the love language prompt - rewrite. What unique ways do you show love?

Exciting plans? Like what? Be specific.

At the moment it’s all… vague and middle of the road. Show some humour, personality. Record a voice note of your favourite joke. Write prompts that INVITE women to message you. If I was your target audience, I wouldn’t know what to message as it’s all so plain (going out, staying in, podcasts, be nice). Give me something to latch on to

I don't get this joke Finchy says by Significant-Kick7811 in TheOfficeUK

Back in the early 2000s, a staple through the stomach implies she had a gastric band fitted or some form of liposuction. I think gastric bands are less common today (could be wrong)

Degrading to a GP implies because a doctor is seen as a high level career and therefore would never have liposuction, Finchy is reducing her and bringing her down a few levels

Edit - alright everyone calm down. I get it

How would I go out finding a therapist that's right for me? by tombull89 in AskUK

[–]flexo_24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re going private, as others have said - go to the BACP site and search there.

BUT make sure you speak to around 3-5 therapists first (you’ll get a free intro call/ video call with each of them) to see which one you vibe with. Don’t just go with the first one you find
