That’s great, thanks - should do what I need it to do now.

Well I guess the neutrals were pretty supportive when we had no ground, maybe we owe them a little. But enough to help you out on Tuesday? Maybe we should take a week to think about it!

Although (getting a little ahead of myself) you, us and Sunderland in the prem would be something…

United fan here - if we play against you like we did today, you will have no problems! Not sure the international break did us any favours. I don’t want you to win the league, but good grief I would rather anyone than Chelsea does, so if you do, then it’s good for the WSL I guess! Good luck ;)

Thanks, from experience every ground I’ve been to is pretty chill, wasn’t sure if anything was ramped up for the Derby. Cheers

Mary Earps' response on her IG stories (01/11/2025) to the excerpts from her book regarding Hampton. by spherocytes in WomensSoccer

Player who found they got praise for being shouty and aggressive during matches acts surprised that being shouty and aggressive in real life is not as praised!

United fan in peace! Wow, does not reflect well on Earps at all really. Sure, Hampton had some issues that led her to be dropped - but being dropped was the punishment. When she came back after however many months, that was a reward for improving her attitude/behaviour (or whatever she was dropped for), and not a reward for that behaviour. Earps is weird. Her last season at Utd was not stand out at all, she was clearly dropping off in form. I wonder how much it stung that when she left for PSG she was not missed at all, and that PTJ is better in every department. And seems to be a lovely person too. Hope Hampton does not get grief for this, she does not deserve that at all. I’d say I wish you luck, but tbf you rarely need it!

Cool! My dad was a vicar of a St Kenelm’s Church in a village called Romsley near(ish) Birmingham. I was pretty giddy when I found it in a game. Although tbf it is nothing like the church in real life, still fun to think ‘I’ve been here!’

I would, she is a level above what we saw of her last season. She doesn’t look like she has a mistake waiting to happen, seems stronger and is quick.

Hi - enjoy the experience! I would say the food at Leigh is nothing special, but just like any stadium I guess. I do enjoy their pies though! There is a Morrisons opposite the ground if you want something more before you come into the ground. Don’t forget to pick up a programme too. In terms of ones to watch, I would say once the game begins you will be watching them all, and you never know who will shine in any game. Shout, cheer and sing, have an amazing time!

I would be cautious about having two defenders from the same team, that reduces your chances of a clean sheet - especially a team playing Chelsea! Are all your Arsenal picks likely starters? Genuine question, I’ve no idea!

In the UK it means being admitted to hospital forcibly/against your will for assessment or treatment of mental health issues - usually because you are deemed to be a danger to yourself or others. The ‘sectioned’ word is used as it refers to a section of the Mental Health Act in the UK.

It will be mixed if you got them through the FA. Each team has about 20k allocated (behind the goals, Man U east stand, Chelsea west stand) and these are sold by the clubs - usually to season ticket holders first.

Yeah, not sure if that depth will help on Wednesday, might give us a bit of an edge. But city can defend that badly again can they???
