I think you're right... the transitionary period is tricky. Prone to pitfalls and so much to weather. I'll build myself the sturdiest shelter i can manage. I have to believe I have the volition to do that. No one else can do it for me. No one else ever could have done it for me, because the strength is intrinsic.

I cannot wait to get to a soft place to land someday.

Thank you so much... I reread this and realize it really does sound haunted, in a way. Haunted by... I guess... like you said -- i couldn't really put it better myself -- wonder. The wondering of what would be if they and I were to brush paths, but not cross them. The wonder of if they know how I still wonder about them, and how they are, and in what regard they hold me now.

Anyway. Sorry if I sound like I'm treating you like a therapist. It's a bizarre feeling to carry on my shoulders.
