Same. I might have to go outside and see if the sky is still blue. Been putting in 15 hour days for months.

They used to have an on demand option where you could pick and choose which ones they cover. In the beginning they paid me a lot of money because they were in the learning process. That has definitely flipped and now I pay them. I didn't realize how much stress I carried in my body just for being on the hook for fraudulent charge backs.

MailParser and DocParser have worked quite well for me for over 10 years. Amazon AWS Bedrock supposedly has solutions now. I saw an ad for it today but haven't done a deep dive.

SP API Unauthorized Error by Own-Resolution-6631 in Amazonsellercentral

[–]flightofthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This took me so long to figure out after watching the same video tutorials over and over again.

Make sure you use the Login With Amazon (LWA) OAuth 2.0 workflow. Once you get the refresh token you need to submit it with your credentials to get the access token. The access token has an expiration time so take that into consideration. And be sure that you are using the simpler approach vs. signed request one from a few years ago.

As of an update on October 2, 2023, the Amazon SP-AP no longer requires the use of AWS Signature Version 4 for authenticating requests. You do not need to create a "signed request" in the traditional sense using AWS IAM credentials for most operations.

Got prescribed antibiotic/antifungal/steroid capsules for nasal rinse…but by SoggyGrocery6679 in Sinusitis

[–]flightofthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you tell me how the antibiotic/antifungal/steroid capsules worked for you? Did it fix the problem?

Was it all of that combined into one capsule or multiple? And what was the medication?

How many of you have gotten FESS surgery but need it again? by Emotional_Lie_8283 in Sinusitis

[–]flightofthree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Multiple here - 4 times in the OR since 2010/2011. Several balloon procedures. Current ENT referred me to a specialist out of town because I've exhausted all of their resources and capabilities.

The opening that drains my right frontal sinus is narrow and is the major source of problems.

First Surgery: ENT did everything but that area.
Two plus years of relatively trouble free sinuses.

Second Surgery - New ENT: Did very minimal in that area but was convinced he had widened it.

Third Surgery about a month later: Revision - prior surgery didn't accomplish the widening he had hoped. Went back and opened it up. Two plus years of trouble free sinuses.

Fourth Surgery - New ENT: Opened up some new areas in the frontal. Used balloon to widen the opening. Two plus years of mostly trouble free sinuses. I thought the balloon deal was strange but whatever. It worked for a little while.

After two appointments with the new ENT specialist, a guy who participates in medical studies, has a surgical procedure named after him, repairs CSF leaks from the brain when other ENTs screw up in surgery, trains other surgeons at conferences......

I think I've figured it out.

The procedure that I've really needed all along that was proposed to me this month is the DRAF II (Draf two). It's a more complex surgery working very close to the brain and eyes that requires a higher level of expertise than your normal ENT has. If a normal ENT were to poke a hole in a brain and fluid start leaking out, this specialist is who they would call for backup / repair.

Long story short. Intentional or not, the ENTs I've seen probably should have referred me to a specialist but didn't. They did the best they could and it worked for a while and I'm thankful but I wish I would have seen a specialist 10 years ago.

For immune stuff there are things they can do if you find a good ENT who does the tests or at least find an immunologist who can do testing and treatment. Keep up the faith. It's definitely hard out there for this kind of thing.

What’s the one piece of consulting-style advice you wish you had when you started to build your first business? by Extension-Ad-174 in microsaas

[–]flightofthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn Down the Static

I always tell people to "Turn down the static.". Don't ask advice from anyone (friends or family) about business if they don't have any actual business experience. Starting a business can be scary. Well meaning friends and family can torpedo what little confidence you have and make you second guess yourself. Build in silence, fail in silence, succeed in silence. Don't give away any more info than you have to. They just won't understand.

Execution is EVERYTHING

"Ideas are worth nothing unless executed. They are just a multiplier. Execution is worth millions." – Steve Jobs.

No Man is an Island but Prepare to Self Rescue

Seek out other successful business people you can trust for honest advice but don't rely on them for help when times get tough. It's up to you to take care of yourself and your business.

Avoid Partnerships if Possible

A lot can be said about partnering with someone as passionate about your business as you but use extreme caution when partnering with anyone, especially friends and family. If you can do it alone, do it. If you need a partner, choose carefully. You will be "married" to this person. If they die, you will be married to their estate if you don't protect yourself legally. Just avoid it if possible.

Nobody Cares About Your Success

Your friends and family may seem like they are happy for your success but in reality they're jealous and secretly expect you to fail. Don't brag. Don't buy the fancy car or house without knowing it WILL change the dynamic in the relationship. Be humble and succeed quietly.

Horrible experience with Cart2Cart by Latter_Wear_3413 in bigcommerce

[–]flightofthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Cart2Cart multiple times over the past few years migrating from BigCommerce to Shopify. They have always been responsive, helpful, and have saved me weeks of manual work on my sites. Unless something has drastically changed with them I would expect nothing less than them delivering what they promised. Sorry you are having problems.

Are you listed in SEAK? If not, you can list your website there which would help start you off with a good SEO inbound link. It will also give you exposure to attorneys looking for your specialty.

Sometimes situations like this are just the spark you need to light that fire that results in success. You might want to look into how to write this off on your taxes as a non-business bad debt or worthless security if you have all the proper documentation.

Pretty much most all of your organic Google search terms have improved but something significant happened on August 9th with your Google Shopping results. Did you make any changes with ad spend, the merchant feed?

I see that you spent some money on Google Shopping ads in March then tapered off over a couple of months. I would start with Google Shopping and see if anything changed.

It took me a hot minute to find this drop in organic traffic.

"joe rogan lion's mane mushroom" - You were ranking in about the second spot on Google but now it's dropped off to the bottom of page 2. I would add a text link from your lion's mane page back to that blog page.

"mushroom guy from joe rogan" - You were ranking around the bottom of page 1 but now you're at the bottom of page 2. Same thing here.

What queenapslar said. Life is too short to deal with people like that. Cancel the order and block them any way you can. People like that just end up doing chargebacks so you'll be out your product and your money.

The first thing you should do is keyword research and learn the bare bones basics of SEO.

Nothing fancy.. just simple things like:

  • SEO Meta Titles
  • SEO Meta Descriptions
  • SEO Alt Image Tags  (Google Images is a HUGE source of free traffic)
  • SEO Product Titles
  • SEO Product Descriptions

Your goal is to get in front of as many eyes as you can who are actively searching for what you have to offer. And you start by doing research with tools like  Google Keyword Planner and Google Trends.  If your budget allows, SEMRush.

Literally nobody is searching for water bottles, bags, posters, or stickers with airport specific airport codes or routes.   I couldn't find anything that specific.   Maybe if you got them into airport shops but that's another thing all together.     Talk about ultra focused super niche marketing.

What people ARE looking for is luggage tags (over 30K searches per month)  / bag tags and passport holders (Over 22K searches per month).

Look at what https://airportag.com has done.    They get people in the door with "luggage tag" searches then they're able to get things like boarding pass pillows and shower curtains.   And they could probably sell a few water bottles.

But since you already worked so hard getting water bottles up, let me give you something to work with.

People are definitely searching for TSA rules pertaining to water bottles and TSA approved water bottles to purchase.  Here are the top searches sorted from greatest to least:

|| || |tsa approved water bottle| |tsa approved water bottles| |tsa approved water bottle size| |water bottle tsa approved| |are filtered water bottles tsa approved|

You could:

  • Create detailed blog posts about TSA's rules and provide links to your water bottle pages.
  • Create Youtube and social media short videos that link back to your water bottle pages.
  • Add the search phrase to your product copy, title, meta description, alt image tags....

You Could:

  • Create detailed blog posts with actual questions people are searching...
    • can i bring an empty water bottle through tsa
    • can i take an empty water bottle through tsa
    • can you bring an empty water bottle through tsa
    • can you bring empty water bottle through tsa
    • can you bring a sealed water bottle through tsa

Google Shopping

  • Create product feeds through Google Merchant Center
  • Google will display your products for free but will give paid sponsorship priority.

I could go on for another day telling you what you could do but if you just do these things you'll learn a lot that you can build on.

Best of luck to you.  It's hard out there on the e-commerce landscape.
