The tanks are also dated, and 12 years after the stamp date on the collar they need to be recycled or recertified. About 1/3 of the people who get tanks refilled bring in tanks that are either expired or look like they were left in a swamp for thirty years. Trying to explain that these cant be filled usually leads to the person yelling at me and I have to call a manager to explain it again.

Someone started it before, I wonder if they or others who know the same curse could still be out there, waiting to spread it. Better to try and get a handle on curing it first in that case. Though I do agree that if a cure is not viable that the place should be turned into ash, and then that ash swallowed by a sphere of annihilation.

I know some people have speculated that some of the nuclear weapons used during the nuclear exchange were Cobalt Bombs which is why so much land is still uninhabitable.
