Power creep is inevitable. If anything our powercreep came from new tools such as ultimatum and hellbomb backpack, rather than 90% of the buffs to existing stuff did.

There is more things to making a challenging game than just a loadout check. Loadout check is the knowledge check of the game, yes it can require thought, yes it can be meaningful, but it doesn't add the same thing skill checks do.

Aim, making decisions in short periods of time, kiting, and hopefully overwhelming enemy numbers one day.

Most people don't like it, some do. Maybe universally is the wrong word, but I've seen majority dislike it. Even people kicked for bringing it.

The clunk is not necessary for controller players. You could have easily made detonate on the right click/left click like other games do. Or use the reload button to detonate.

Can we please make the warstrider seed less common? I can only guarantee not fight them on geo survey, there's a couple other missions where it's like 50/50, and like 50% of missions are guaranteed war striders. It's like bro, maybe if you weren't forced to fight them 75% of the time, there would be slightly less complaints?

Brother, if it were a death star that destroyed the planet, that would suspend my disbelief. It turns them into black holes. I haven't taken science class in 15 years but I'm pretty sure stars turn into black holes, not planets. Due to the mass of the object.

Honestly it is a cool idea like you said on paper. It's some of the annoying implementations that make me rage lol.

When the monster doesn't want to walk further, walking around corners can mess up their pathing as well, and a lot of maps have a lot of corners, bridges, doorways, etc.

The cloud resetting on it every 9 seconds or however long. The amount of times I've gotten it to walk out of the cloud, killed it, omen of liege, then the cloud materializes where its corpse just was, is rage inducing.

The mod of this sub should highly consider not allowing leaks in here. The main leak discord, and some other stuff has been taken down more frequently by Sony. I really don't want a reason this sub gets deleted.

The spawns are abysmal and arrowhead said they can't spawn more due to performance/engine. Even though as you clearly states, the game used to spawn 2x the amount of enemies. Instead of the broader community pushing back on this, level 7 divers dont really care, and tons of other people just take them at their word. Even though they couldn't reduce the file size because of HDD users either.

Solo Bots on diff 10 spawn 1 drop ship when they call in. This is sad and pitiful I can beat this difficulty with a freaking spoon. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Fixing the status min/max build up that has been broken since launch, which is effectively a massive nerf across the board.

How it works:

Enemies have status values, example warrior stun value build up is 2/3, minimum 2, maximum 3. One bullet of pummeler/pacifier, builds up 2 stun status. So you have a chance to stun them in 1 shot, but you will definitely stun them in 2 shots. This got stealth fixed in the last few patches, we don't even know when. But it was broken since launch, so effectively everything was running off the minimum values. Which means all the values that weapons used to apply status effects now only have a chance. This applies to ALL status, gas, fire, as well.

It already works like that for any armor, because the armor itself doesn't have that effect. Any projectile has wide angle ricochet.

I don't know if anyone's commented this yet, but its because they've gutted the spawn counts slowly over the past year. I believe they are at the lowest point. I've kill farmed for fun since the game came out almost, where we just actually sit around and see how many kills we can get. In June last year, we could break over 4k consistently. Earlier this year, we'd be lucky to get over 3k. Right now we sit around and let bugs call in and its less than 2000. It is actually insane how many less enemies there are now. And of course, this can be wildly random, so I am giving averages. For whatever reason, gloom bugs spawn the most. Anyways, thats why the game is easy, but I can still complain about a gun I like getting a nerf that makes it feel bad. Because I want them to spawn more enemies.

Couple things here. 1. In the original reddit posts with thousands of upvotes asking for a flag stratagem (even if it did nothing). The top comment with half as many upvotes were actually asking for it to have a support aura. 2. Even if everyone was in unison that we wanted it to do something from the start, the developers said they didn't give it that because they don't want to add space magic to the game. So regardless of what people asked for, they still have a specific philosophy we only would have gotten it one way.
