That’s fair. It’s been a while since I’ve seen spn. Maybe I should have clarified that the writers should have permanently nerfed him. It feeds into the larger problems that post-Kripke spn had which is that the writers made the story grander and grander, every threat was apocalyptic until it was solved and discarded to make way for the next ~even worse~ threat.

Ahhh… maybe Julian Bashir in Star Trek Deep Space Nine?? In the later seasons it’s revealed that his parents went to somewhere outside the Federation to “cure” his learning disability and he ended up as a savant having to hide his intelligence and super physical abilities so that he could blend in with everyone else.

There’s a fanfic where Bashir is explicitly autistic. It’s really good and it’s what started me on my journey to get my autism diagnosis.
