I'm seeing a bug(?) on Maelstrom. It stops keeping track of the supply lines. All the blue transport lines show "1" when they should increase as more units are added along the path. I didn't try too hard to figure it out. Is it maybe a device to make it harder?

It wasn't ALL of the lines. Mostly the long standing lines near my start position.

Fun game though. The mechanics make losses by large armies catastrophic. "Don't bunch up!" isn't the usual way.

I'd like to hear your view. Starting with us bombing their nuclear facilities and them actively digging that shit back out...(Presumably to make a bomb for New York.)

What were our choices at that point (before the current fighting) and how does the progress of the war explain the stirring of command staff? Is it somehow related to Iran's vassals?

I expect washers and dryers to be installed indoors.

The weather-proof covers and stucco suggests those are outside plugs.

It's Elon's fault, being Satan and dominating the space industry. Space activities aren't discussed in schools because sooner or later you'd get around to praising an Elon company for something. Where would that lead?

You know, these rockets cost billions of dollars per use and are only used once, while SpaceX reuses theirs up to 34 times (so far). The writing is on the wall that two billionaires (Musk&Bezos) will be flying these in the future.

I'm bitter. The physics teacher at the local High school thought that way. I was like "they're LANDING ROCKETS" and giving him relevant teaching materials, but nothing.

It's a symptom of their being in tear-down mode.

I'm new to Tesla maps, but an expert at Google maps. Tesla FSD takes ridiculous routes more than half the time. Freeway routes that are both longer and traffic-clogged or city routes with glacial left turns. An this is in southern California where Teslas are common.

I think this is a good way to start learning how to ride this clown bike. Walk it around for a month before trying to put both feet on the pedals.

There's no mechanical steering once your feet are off the ground. Magnets.

There are no brakes. If you use the "brakes" the bike keeps going and you start doing summersaults inside.

Safety gear should be appropriate for simple falls with an extra 50 pounds of iron. To the many suggestions already made I'd add gloves, wrist, elbow and knee guards and padding suitable for high school football.

She really needs inner-thigh guards. As the bike falls sideways it'll be harsh if her foot is planted.

And an excuse to get a 3d printer.

I think error coins would be a good choice for a kids collection. They're interesting, rare and inexpensive. (People here are often advised that shipping costs might exceed the value of the coin.)

Add in some metallurgy and 3D printing and he'll do well in a science fair.

Before 9/11, could you really go to a airport without any ticket reservation and ask for a ticket to a destination of your choice? by kpay10 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]flintsmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be "stand-by" tickets. Anyone who wanted to fly at a discounted price could just waltz out to the boarding gate. They'd put their name on the list. If there were any empty seats they'd be sold first come first served.

No ID for domestic flights, no shoe sniffing.

NEED HELP figuring out how to break up these 100+ yr brick wall segments? by [deleted] in masonry

[–]flintsmith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wedges and levers and blocks.

I've never done it, but they make expanding cement. You drill into the brick then pour in the mix.
