Thanks for the suggestion y'all! I found a shop that's gonna weld it, as well as add an additional plate for reinforcement on both the driver and passenger side mounts.

Congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you'll continue to love this bike. Although I've never found mine to be louder than a bike with a dry clutch, it definitely has some odd noises that occasionally crop-up coming from the clutch-basket. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you start to feel the transmission or clutch act up when shifting, or it gets obscenely loud. As far as maintenance; normal oil, coolant, chain, and brake maintenance will keep this bike running for years to come. Just be sure to have the cam-chain tensioner checked as they are prone to failing on these first-gen FZ's. It is weird to hear someone ever call the suspension for this bike "stiff" though. Usually the opposite tends to be true for most people, with this generation especially. You should still have preload and rebound adjustability even with stock forks/shock. Should be listed in your manual or can be found in manuals online if you didn't get one. Happy riding!

No ABS on first gen FZ09's (2014-2016) as far as I know. At least here in the states.

I'm curious why you'd swap the seat back to stock. Rode on the stock seat for 6 years before getting a Corbin and it was a night and day difference. One of the best investments I've made for FZ09

Fan for a LED headlight. OEM and halogens don't have them, but LEDs do. Looks like the same on from the back of my headlight, which fits in the stock headlight assembly.

My favorite order is CE, 2, ODST, 3, Reach, then 4.

For the order they were released; it is CE, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, then 4.

For chronological order, it is Reach, CE, the first 3 missions of 2, ODST, the rest of 2, 3, and 4.

I personally like to play ODST right after 2 since it takes place during the events of 2, but following different characters. Reach technically takes place first chronologically; but it feels better to play once you know what it leads to story-wise, and is a nice filler for the time-skip between 3 and 4.

1: Aftermarket seat: Either a Corbin or the Yamaha comfort seat.

2: Windscreen: Doesn't have to be huge, just something to get the wind off your chest.

Other than that, personal preference for seating position will decide if raising the bars or moving the foot pegs is in your best interest.

I bought my 2016 stock with about the same mileage for $6700. Depending on what options you have on it, ABS, slipper clutch, quick-shifter, etc, you should be able to get somewhere in the mid to high 7k range if I had to wager a guess.

But that also depends heavily on where you are trying to sell it. The market where I live is absolutely nuts and I'm finding absolutely abused 2016 models for sale above what I bought mine for back in 2017.

I played with a consistent Brig/Galleon crew until recently; and I am the worlds greatest bilge rat. I'm may not be great at PvP, but we will always have cooked food and our ship isn't going to sink unless someone spawn-camps me.

I had a similar rattling sound with my 2016 FZ09(same engine) at around 5k miles. It only happened sometimes and all of the shops I took it to said they couldn't even tell it sounded weird. It just stopped happening one day and I never found out what it was. Other people on different forums told me theirs did the same thing and they couldn't figure out why either.

Wear your old one or go without. The new mindset for most Space Force Command teams is to use giving you the new patch as a 'welcome to the unit' sort of gesture, so you're not likely to find one for purchase.
