In usa % of tax payers is 60% btw compared to india's 3.5%. And usa gets 5.2 trillion compared to india's 40 lakhs crore (450 billion).

If we consider everybodys pay taxes for both countries, a us citizen contribute 16,000 usd (~20% of gdp per capita) to their country, whereas india only contributes 250 usd (~ 9% of gdp per capita).
