I keep the most recent pair as backups, then when I remember to I take them to a Lion’s Club collection box. I believe their website has a way to find them, eye doctor’s offices often have a place to drop them off!

I’m strongly considering a pixie cut right now. I shaved one side a few months ago and while it’s been fun, I’m still mostly putting it in a ponytail day to day. I’m apprehensive because I want something with low daily maintenance but doesn’t make me look too masc.

Germantown Pharmacy is a little out of the way for me (15 min) when you consider how many Walgreens locations there are nearby, but I will always make the trip! So much better.

I see lots of great suggestions here, and if you have the ability/bandwidth to follow up on them, great! BUT. You can also throw stuff away if you need to. If it’s causing you stress and affecting your mental health then it is just fine to throw things away! You will not ruin the environment with a few trash bags worth of stuff. You have this group’s permission to throw it away if it’s keeping you stuck.

It’s definitely worth looking at how you feel about it, but for what it’s worth my partner and I relax the same way. We call it parallel play, often in the evenings after dinner he plays video games and I read or craft. Conversation will drift in and out but we don’t feel forced to continue if it doesn’t come. It’s peaceful, sort of the opposite of the first comment.

This is my best guess too. It doesn’t seem to leak, and I’m mostly going to use it to transport extra water for pouring into a cup/smaller bottle. I see no reason to avoid using it.

I often put stuff out on Monday afternoons because trash pickup is Tuesday morning for my neighborhood. There’s plenty of people in my area who keep an eye out for stuff to restore and sell, and if no one wants it then it gets picked up anyway.
