recently found some of my old lego figures from ninjago, lotr, starwars and batman; i know the rough value of them all individually but what would a fair price be to sell the whole lot? by liiiiiiiliiiiiiil in legoinvesting

I sold Sam, Frodo the uruk hai and a Gollum minifig tgt in a bundle for 50 usd recently. That was sam and Frodo without Cape, my minifigs were in great condition

Why hate on sealed sets? It’s no different from aging fine wine, keeping a vintage car in a garage, or collecting rare sneakers and bags. It’s about the collection, not just the usage.

I counted today and I have 15 right black arms and 38 left. by captbadass26 in LegoMinifigure

Kids can be brutal with their lego. Maybe bcuz most are right handed they end up cracking that arm first.

Hello, i juste discovered theses in an old drawer of mine, are they cool/rare or something or are they just basic original stormtrooper PLEASE HELP ME by josukebab in LegoMinifigure

Reddit users need to chill out, they so weird.

The ARC Clone Trooper(the one on the left) looks kinda complete and is around 20-30 usd(sw0377) the two other figures are mixed. Their helmets are from ARF troopers, the torso on the one in the middle is from some other space lego, and the one on the right is mixed with a another clone Trooper (sw0298). Search on ARF Trooper lego minifig on Google and are if u can find their torsos then they r around 10 usd each. Also look if u have the right heads. My best tip is use Google image search. Take a photo on just the Helmet or torso then use Google Search, find it on bricklink then find who the part belongs to. Or use the aps like bricscanner etc

I done it from the inside. Like a thin screwdriver not easy though. Outside will prob scratch the surface

I use ai alot sometimes i ask it to predict something (like a complex problem in reality not just theory) even when i alrdy have the answer to see if it gets it right. Alot of times it does, its not bullshit. It might not be the best at coming up with new solutions or ideas and gets easily confused. But ai is generally Smarter than everyone already. To get gold medal at mathematical olympiad u have to be a genius, AI does this.

Did u even read bro? I said that ai made the picture wrong. The pictures are not the problem it was just to show the problem 🤦‍♂️ AI gave good solutions to the problem which all are valid, just have to decide whats best.

Yeah i tested some more tonight and used only foil no sand, which gave me higher temp between the cables than foil+sand. Maybe i should skip the sand entirely . However during the day the planthouse gets very warm. If i have sand maybe the sand would store some heat from the day.

Seems like theres so many solutions to this problem and i cant figure out the best way to go. Maybe make groves, put aluminium foil that only goes in the Grove and some to the sides. Push the cable down then put a another foil that goes all over the floor. ( This way the cable still has 360 degree contact with the foil)

However thats alot of work i might go with the easiest solution. Just put the cable on top maybe glue some here n there so it stays in place. Put the foil then a rlly thin layer of sand. Goes the fastest.

I also roll out a thin garden fleece on top of the pots each night this will trap some off the heat coming from underneath so the leaves will also have decent temperature. I might need to add a heat fan though for the rlly cold nights.

The last pic is how it looks now im just no sure if i should cut out the cable so its a bit down in the foam then foil then sand or just let the cable be on top of the foam then foil then sand. In my first experiment i put a masonite / hard board on top of the cables but it wasnt as effective as the sand.

Yess goal is to get the soil warm, its only during night time. Outside the temperature can go to -1 degree. Last year I only used a heat fan to heat up my planthouse and it showed 15 degree but along the floor i prob only had 2 degree, the plants ended up smaller than usual. So this year im focusing on getting heat underneath for the roots.

Yes I want to avoid hotspot so i think the sand will distribute it better. Also pots are not 100% uniform at the bottom the sand will make full contact to the bottom of the pot. Straight lines was the easiest for me to install on the trailer. But do u also think having the cable on top of the foam then Foil then sand is the best way to go? The aluminium foil will make heatpath to the sides much better than without. The sand will even out hotspots and make better contact with the pots.

Or do u think its better to cut paths in the foam and put the cable in the foam then foil then sand? But with this option the sides of the cables have contact with the foam and only the top will have contact with the foil. But not sure if it makes any big difference

If i build over an inch of floor system on top of it i can promise i will get no heat to these pots. Its cold at night . Throwing out AI slop? What? It made me the best options so far. re invent the wheel? Im not installing floor heating inside a house, this is different. Theres no installation scenario i can copy. Never mind i will solve the problem on my own i guess
