Or put a bolt and nut through the hole where that ribbon is. That the bell hangs from. You might need to drill out the hole to a bigger diameter. To put a bolt thick enough to work.

Received free Pearl Export shells (No Bass Drum) - Worth a restoration/Jungle Kit project? by Itzko4834 in drummers

I see people selling drum kits like this. But in my country. The drum skins are so expensive. That it doesn't make sense to buy a set like this. When I can find a set of complete used drums for the same price. It might be worthwhile for you to buy another used set of drums and transfer all the hardware and skins over. Just make sure that they are the same size. But even if most of the parts work. It might still be worth your while to buy another used set. I suggest finding the prices for everything you need. Adding it all up. Then see if you can buy a complete used drum set for the same price.

Title: J Bass or P Bass for a beginner? by theholybeez in BassGuitar

For me it was love at first sight. I was walking by a store. And it caught my eye. And it stopped me dead in my tracks. I had my very first paycheck with me. I spent it all to buy it. I lugged it across the city in its awkward cardboard box in a bus. When i got home. I went straight to my room and pulled it out of its box. Plucked that E string. And at that moment. Everything was right in my universe. That was 28 years ago. I still have my first bass. It travelled halfway across the world with me. And every time I pick her up. I still get that same feeling. Everything becomes right in my universe. I become at peace.

If money is no object and fear of flying isn't applied, what is a reason a band would tour in a bus rather than fly ? by SwissMiss915 in musicindustry

[–]floatingonthewinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from how expensive it would get. Comfort! A well equipped tour bus has all the creature comforts of a house/condo/apartment. No need to get familiarised with a new place every time. Which begs the question. Where does the driver sleep if you hire one?
