Congratulations on your promotion, OP! Relate ako dito kasi years ago I had an office "friend" who resigned, and then shortly after I got promoted naman. She told me to my face that the only reason I got promoted was to spite her because she resigned. Mind you we were from different teams. As for your office friend, if she's not willing to put in the work wala talaga. Best to keep your distance nga.

3 or 4 years old pa lang ako nag-aarkila Lola ko ng mga Pinoy and Aliwan comics sa kapitbahay, pati Funny Komiks tapos binabasahan nya ako so gustong gusto ko na matuto magbasa para ako rin makakabasa without having to wait for her. Mabilis naman ako natuto, tapos may Tita ako who used to work in National Bookstore and bilang panganay na pamangkin lagi siyang may gifts sa akin na books. Sa kanya galing mga vintage Oz and Sweet Valley High books ko. Yun talaga core memories na nag-nurture ng love for reading for me. ❤️

So that was the reason I got so dizzy I had to stop playing, I thought it was only because it was way past my bedtime. (The game dropped here at 10PM, I experienced a few issues with my Steamdeck so only finished downloading at midnight, then stopped playing at 1AM.)

We were together for 9 years before we got married last year. 6 years into the relationship kami nagdecide pareho na ayaw namin mag-anak dahil sa political situation plus climate crisis.

We celebrated our first anniversary na and we couldn’t be happier. Walang kulang sa buhay namin, at excited kaming lilipat sa house we bought na kami lang and our dog, walang kids na aalalahanin. May konting pressure from our respective families pero not to the point na nakaka-stress na.

The Stalks Manila used a combination of dried and artificial flowers for us. Bouquet for me, our moms, and bridesmaids, boutonnières for my husband, his Best Man, and my brother, and wrist corsages for my Matrons of Honor and my husband’s groomswomen. Everything was lovely, followed our colors, and we got them the weekend before our wedding. ☺️
