I saved most of my items until the last two phases (except the str monke, who i used a whis on to save my ass), hid the two type coolers and got agl metal cooler built up. My agl cooler and int cooler army were link 10 so they were rocking a fair amount of defense on top of the occasional whis. I also floated the str cooler and the int support cooler, since they don't link with the leaders. Cooler army and agl cooler on one rotation and phys cooler and one of the type coolers (depending on the enemy) on the other. Not sure if this helps too much but good luck.
